Jeannett Stahley's Obituary
In Loving Memory
Jeannette Adel Stahley (Gouse), went home to be with her Lord on December 6, 2024. She was greeted by her father, mother, brother Albert, brother-in-law, nephews, and other family & friends that preceded her. Jeannette was born in 1941 in Croydon, PA where she lived until 1970 when she moved two streets over to Bristol after marrying her husband Ralph, and there they remained for the next 54 years.
She was a member of Trinity Bible Church in Bristol, PA where she faithfully served as the Pastor's wife, a deaconess, and in various children's ministries. The people of Trinity Bible Church were so much more than her friends, they are family.
Jeannette was known for her compassionate spirit, which extended to people and animals. She often frequented the local grocery stores where she befriended anyone she met, and her grocery list consisted of peanuts for the squirrels, cat food for any strays, and treats for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Pastor Ralph Stahley to whom she was a loving wife, faithfully serving and supporting him in his ministry. Also by her four children: Wendi Rice, William Stahley, Kristen Avery (Jeff), and Kimberly Hughes (Mark) to whom she was a caring mother, always putting their needs above her own. She was known as "Nanny" to her 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews, and called "Mom" by anyone who didn't have one. She was an affectionate sister to her two surviving brothers and two sisters. Words can't describe how deeply she will be missed. She was loved beyond measure and she has blessed our lives beyond belief. Most of all, she loved Jesus with all her heart, her life was in service to Him, and if you are reading this her greatest wish would be for you to join her in Heaven someday. (John 3:16-18) A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, love gifts can be sent to Trinity Bible Church 1229 Newport Rd., Bristol PA
