The Da Vinci Code - Fact, Fiction or FairyTale

May 19, 2006 is the date that Dan Brown's fictional novel "The Da Vinci Code", is scheduled to be released in the movies. His book has already touched off one of the greatest controversies in church history. He is presenting fiction as fact, and sad to say much of the world will never check out his claims. They will swollow these lies hook, line and sinker.  In 1John 4:1 we read, Beloved, (Christians) believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.  In 1Peter 3:15 we read, But sanctify the Lord in your hearts, and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear. In other words, Know what you believe and why you believe it.  This way no man will be able to sway you with their lies and deceptions. The only way to know  What and Why is to STUDY, and hide the Word of God in your hearts.

In the days leading up to and the days following the release of this movie, some people will be asking questions about Mr. Browns claims. Will you be able to answer them, or will you be decieved into believing these lies?

There are many good resources available for study, that expose these lies. One such resource is available through Raido Bible Class. It is a short 32 page brochure entitled "The DaVinci Code - Separating Fact From Fiction". To obtain an online copy of this brochure click on the link below. Read it, print it out and be prepared to give Biblical answers to those who question you about the claims in the book and the movie.
